Cricket Wireless will release a new smartphone branded under their name. This device will rival popular affordable Android phones such as the Moto G Play (2023), Samsung A14, and others priced under $200.

Cricket Wireless has recently released the Cricket Magic 5G, joining their extensive selection of white-label phones, making them the leading US carrier in this category.

The newest 5G phone from Cricket includes a powerful 2.2GHz octa-core processor, along with 64GB of storage and a 4,000mAh battery. The Cricket Magic 5G also features a 6.6-inch HD+ screen that is resistant to scratches. This display has a resolution of 1,612 x 720. However, similar to other affordable phones, it has noticeable bezels.

Discussing the phone’s camera features, it has a dual-camera arrangement on the rear and a front-facing camera. The rear setup consists of a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera, while the front camera has a 5MP lens.

The upcoming Android phone will have Android 13 already installed and will be covered by Cricket’s two-year warranty for added peace of mind. Other noteworthy features include the ability to use it as a mobile hotspot, make calls over Wi-Fi, a USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, a fingerprint sensor on the back, and facial recognition.

The Cricket Magic 5G is available for purchase at a price of $140 on the website of Cricket Wireless. It is only offered in a single color option, which is a distinct gray checkered design known as Grey Plaid.
